Good thoughts! I am in agreement with you. We still watch old movies with offensive things. Holiday Inn has black face and Iām not thrilled with how the housekeeper and kids are portrayed. But we talk about it as a family so we are aware of the issues and why they matter.
Great example with Holiday Inn! We otherwise love that movie and have had some good conversations about it. In fact, when we read Behind Rebel Lines, Holiday Inn was a good reference point for having that discussion. Itās so interesting how books are attacked more than other media.
